We really need to talk.

After having my 100th conversation yesterday with a client who is nervous about raising her prices, I had to do an episode about women in business.

Let's Release These Blind Spots.

My first product was an E-book back in 2009...and it was sold at a DONATION based price.

My mentor eventually sat me down and told me "listen. It's great what you're doing. But if you want this business to grow, you're going to need to charge a price for your E-book. Let's try $27."

The idea of charging $27 for my e-book caused me SO MUCH anxiety that I spent three days crying my eyes out, biting my nails in worry. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Most of the women I work with have a similar experience

As women, we watch our mothers & grandmothers do lots of free labor (cooking, cleaning, errands, book-keeping, car pooling etc etc).

Side note: Based on the list above, the average value of labor most women contribute to a household is well over $150k per year.

So...blind spot number one ๐Ÿ‘‰ women tend to UNDERCHARGE for our products and services.
